Please note 

  • This application is for current ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison students only who are interested in participating in a summer exchange or study abroad program at one of our partner universities.  

  • You must have a current grade point average (GPA) of above 2.5 to apply to a summer exchange program. 

Available programs

The following summer exchange & study abroad programs are administered by ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison and its affiliated partner universities. There are no language requirements for any of these programs although some programs offer language courses as part of their summer exchange programs. Please note that dates of each program vary from university to university so please consult the webpages for each of the programs below and familiarize yourself with the courses available and the dates they are offered.  

Europe

  • Hessen International Summer University (ISU) Marburg (Philipps Universität Marburg) - Germany
    • 4 weeks, July 26 - August 23, 2025
    • 1 German language course/1 "German History and Politics" course/two academic seminars (credits transferred back to ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison TBD)

  • University of Tübingen International & European Studies Summer School - Germany
    • 4 weeks: May 29 - June 26, 2025
    • Two study tracks: (A) The EU in Permanent Crises? Perspectives, Challenges, Solution / (B) Society and Artificial Intelligence in Europe Today
      • All students will also attend a German language class.
  • University of Stirling International Summer School - Scotland
    • 2 blocks: June 7 - July 5 & July 5 - August 2, 2025
    • Students can take 1 or 2 classes per block
  • University of Bristol Summer Programmes - England
    • Session 1 (3 weeks, June 15 - July 5, 2025): Arts, Activism, Social Justice / Exploring Environmental Research / Medieval Studies
    • Session 2 (3 weeks, July 6 - July 26, 2025): Biomedical Sciences Lab / Environmental Humanities / Innovation and Entrepreneurship
    • STEM Research Internship
  • SDU International Summer School - Denmark
    • August 4 - 15, 2025
    • Courses within engineering, science, health sciences, business, and social sciences
  • The Hague Summer School - The Netherlands
    • July 7 - 18, 2025
    • Courses on Peace, Justice, Human Rights and European Union Cooperation / The Impact of Global Migration / Sustainable Entrepreneurial thinking
  • Summer School at BI Norwegian Business School - Norway
    • 3 weeks: June 23 - July 11, 2025
    • Courses in Sustainability / Data Science

Asia

  • Dongguk University: International Summer School - South Korea
    • Session 1: June 23 - July 4, 2025
    • Session 2: July 7 - July 18, 2025

* please note that if program fees and tuition are paid directly to our partner university, students will need to complete a Letter of Permission (LOP) at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison University in order to transfer the credits back to their degree.  The cost of an LOP is $50 CAN.
