RCAF Foundation Student Scholarship 2022
Applications for the 2022 RCAF Foundation Student Scholarship are being accepted until May 9.
Developed for Canada’s next generation of aviation and aerospace leaders, these 50 scholarships of $1000 are open to any student 25 years of age or younger who is either entering or studying in a post-secondary institution in Canada. They are designed to encourage students in S.T.E.M. studies in college or university that plan on future careers in the aviation or aerospace industry.
To apply, students must answer two questions by essay or video:
- Tell us about yourself and why you are pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace
- How will your career path and goals make a meaningful contribution to your chosen field or to your community?
Submission Deadline – Monday May 9, 2022.
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison Aviation Scholarships
Rob Robichaud — Vantage Airport Group Aviation Scholarship
These scholarships are established in memory of Rob Robichaud who was the President and CEO of the Greater Moncton International Airport and a retired RCAF Lieutenant Colonel with 32 years’ service.
One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to a full-time international student in or entering the Bachelor of Science (Aviation) program who is in good academic standing. Preference is given to students from the Bahamas, Jamaica, or the Caribbean.
Another $5,000 scholarship is awarded to a full-time student from Westmorland County (eg: Moncton, Riverview, Dieppe) who is in or entering the Bachelor of Science (Aviation) program who is in good academic standing.
Ross A. Stanway Entrance Scholarship (Aviation Program)
Dr. Ross A. Stanway taught for many years in the Philosophy department at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison University. Dr. Stanway’s other passion was flying, and he spent decades helping to shape the vision and direction of the Moncton Flying Club (now MFC Training). He was President of the MFC Board at the time of his death in 1999.
The Ross A. Stanway Entrance Scholarship is awarded to a student entering the Bachelor of Science (Aviation) program.
