Fees need to be paid by specific dates to ensure you are enrolled, able to access services, and even eligible to graduate.

Students have the convenience of making payments online or in-person. You can make payments like registration and housing deposits, tuition, residence, meal plans, and all other payments.
Calculate your 2024-2025 tuition and fees
Your tuition and fees will vary depending on whether you are a Canadian or international student, full-time or part-time student, and if you live in residence.
Follow these steps to determine which fees apply to you to calculate your total amount.

All tuition and fees for the entire year will be divided by term. The following applies to full-time students enrolled in both Fall and Winter terms:
Fall term
- 50% of your tuition and student fees
- 70% of your residence and meal plan fees
- 100% of your orientation fee (for new students only)
- Minus your registration deposit
- Minus your housing deposit
Winter term
- 50% of your tuition and student fees
- 30% of your residence and meal plan fees
Remember to subtract any applicable scholarships, awards or bursaries.

Step 1: Tuition
Full-time: students enrolled in 9 or more credits in the fall or winter terms.
Part-time: students enrolled in 3-6 credits during the fall or winter terms.
Overload Fall/Winter: Full-time students who have permission to take course overloads may take up to 18 credits per term without being charged additional tuition. Additional tuition fees will be charged for credits in excess of 18 credits per term.
Spring/Summer term: all students pay tuition per course.

Aviation tuition
In the first year of the aviation program, your tuition fee is ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison’s full-time undergraduate tuition fee only.
Once you start your flight training (usually in second year), your tuition fee is a blend of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison and MFC Training tuition, which covers all ground school and flight training, in addition to courses you take at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison.
Tuition fees do not include residence accommodation or travel between campuses.

Student fees details
MASU, membership and extended health and dental coverage, includes:
- full-time Student Union fee ($280)
- extended health and dental plan ($500)
This plan is administered and managed by the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison Students’ Union (MASU). Full-time students can opt out of this plan if they can provide proof of equivalent coverage and receive a refund of the fee paid from the MASU office. International students will be charged for an international student basic medical plan. This plan is administered and managed by the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison Students’ Union (MASU). Students may opt out of this plan if they can provide proof of equivalent coverage and receive a refund of the fee paid from the MASU office. New student orientation is a multi-day collaboration between the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison Students' Union and the University's Student Life Office. It is designed to be a fun, informative, and inclusive introduction to university life at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Allison. All new students are encouraged to attend. Register at . The fee covers the cost of all Orientation events, entertainment, and programming. It also includes a well-stocked welcome pack which is made available to new students on Move-in Day. Full-time students are charged automatically. Part-time students can opt-in by contacting the Students' Union at masu@mta.ca or (506) 364-2231
Step 3: Residence and meal plan
Fees cover services such as utilities, housekeeping, building maintenance, laundry, hi-speed internet, cable, phone, and mini fridge. Your accommodation fee also covers the social and civic support provided by residence dons, assistants, and academic mentors.
These fees are for a full academic year and are mandatory. Residence students are required to have an all-access meal plan.

Residence fees and meal plan details
The Residence Services fee is mandatory for all students living in residence and covers Internet connection, a mini fridge and access to the laundry room.
House Executive Residence Dues are mandatory for all students living in residence. The House Executive Residence Dues are collected by the University on behalf of the residence hall student executive teams. Dues are used for student-led programming in residence over the course of the academic year. Only students who live in residence are subject to residence dues
